IN DIFFICULT SEASONS OF LIFE, GAIN BIBLE TRUTH AND COURAGE DAILY
It is such a pleasure to share with our #prayer #community a #tool that will assist in helping you and or friends who need #encouragement in adversity. My step father is undergoing cancer treatments in this season of 2025. A strong christian, PETE, age 84, wants scriptures at a touch because of his sickness, anxiety, depression, etc. I noticed in his frustrastion that he has limited energy to search the #bible. So I had been wanting to make #prayer #scriptural #jars for my family and friends in time of need; however, to be honest it has taken much of my day. Maybe you can benefit from this journey. #doityourself
1) Seeking 90+ Scriptures of comfort and healing truth (see below...I've added them for you :) Copy and print in your creative font and size.
2) Designing the jar cover with #inspiration and art (sample attached below)
3) Finding Avery template to post my Label - I used 2" x 4" 51mm x 102mm same size as Avery #5163. My jar 4 1/2" in height and 10" in circumference. Print
4) Printing the scriptures and cutting them into slips of paper. Folding them in half
5) Find a jar or buy one. Place the scriptures in the jar. Paste label on jar.
6) I cut a 14" ribbon of choice to create a bow around the top of the jar for #decoration.
An absolutely spiritually meaningful gift for yourself or for someone in need. These scritures then can be taped on your mirror, placed in your bible, taped by your bedside, car radio, front door, around you home or office desk. Enjoy this Christian tool that has worked for me. May God bless you with this idea as well.
